Dunedin Craft Distillers Terms& Conditions (Valid from 18th August, 2021)

In New Zealand, you must be 18 years or older to buy alcohol from our online shop or in person from our distillery. If you are not 18 years of age or older, it is illegal for you to place an order with us.

HOST RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

We offer sales, tastings and tours on site at our off-licence premises, 8 Roberts Street, Dunedin and at other event locations as permitted by Special Alcohol Licence. It is against the law to serve minors. If we are in doubt as to your age, we will ask for your ID. We only accept:

  • Current NZ photo driver’s licence

  • HANZ 18+ card or Kiwi Access Card

  • Passport

    NO ID, NO SERVICE, NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • We will not serve intoxicated persons.

  • We operate within the requirements of the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

  • A tasting or tour will not exceed a total of 20 mils. of spirit per person.

  • We provide nibbles such as crostini for our bread-to-bottle tastings We always provide filtered drinking water.

  • We do not sell single-serve RTD products in bottles less than 500mls

  • Our Policy is to serve you in a friendly, responsible & professional manner, without offering too many spirits as to make you inebriated.

    COLLECTION & SHIPPING OF ONLINE ORDERS

    You can collect your purchase from our Distillery at 8 Roberts Street, Dunedin, 9016 or we can courier your purchase to you within New Zealand. Delivery within NZ is by New Zealand Couriers/Post Haste. Delivery incurs an additional cost as indicated when you place an order. Delivery typically occurs within 1-2 days. Please allow up to 3 additional days for rural delivery. We have no control over specific delivery times once orders have been dispatched from our premises. Please note that alcohol deliveries cannot be left unattended or with a person under the age of 18.

    ONLINE ORDERING & PAYMENT
    All prices are shown in New Zealand dollars and include GST.

    Your credit card data is processed through the Stripe payment gateway which adheres to the standards managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

    To protect your personal information, we take all reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

    GIFT VOUCHERS
    Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash, nor will change be given should the value of item/s purchased be less than the Gift Voucher value.


    CHANGING YOUR ORDER
    If you would like to change your order, please email jenny@dunedincraftdistillers.nz as soon as you receive your order confirmation email. Once an order has been processed for the courier we cannot make any changes.


    REFUNDS & RETURNS
    All orders are packaged with care to ensure that our products arrive in undamaged condition. In the event your order is damaged or arrives in poor condition please contact jenny@dunedincraftdistillers.nz immediately and we will arrange for a replacement. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
